@Tia1ko:
They will come very soon: Chinese “tortellini” are called “wan tan”
What I want to say: There are so much more things in the world connecting people (and peoples) than dividing them. Peace?
Oh, I’m sorry, but this is Iain MacDonald on scottish small pipes (brother of Alan MD, I think). No offence meant! And you’re bloody well right: A mix of great Irish and Scots talent. Thank you!
Niall Vallely on conertina, Donald Shaw on piano, Alan MacDonald on Jews harp,
Steve Cooney on guitar, Alan Henderson on fiddle. Trevor Hutchinson on bass and Mick O’Brien on small pipes. Even mix of Irish and Scots musical talent.
i think he was referring to the fact that his brother niall vallely (not shown here) is as talented on the irish uilleann pipes as he is on the concertina.
hang on. you play an instrument that was invented in the east and was only introduced to scotland by the english after it had passed through france and the rest of europe. so can’t really talk.
Is that an accordion? And if its not, what is that called? Seriously, total n00b here… (Saw something about Jews Harp..?)Czech chik here, with no idea what these instruments are called… Pls be kind.. lol
Excuse me, my granny has played piano since she was old enough to walk. And you know what, she was born and raised in Scotland and plays in Celtic jams all the time…. Pianos are very much accepted into the Celtic music scene. SO PISS OFF!
Class !!

I like the concertina but I’m iffy on the accordian. Does that make sense?
This is good to know. All right, the next time I will go to a Chinese restaurant I will ask for tortellini. (I.e., who cares whence it came?)
my mistake i meant to say cillian vallely.
i think he was referring to the fact that his brother niall vallely (not shown here) is as talented on the irish uilleann pipes as he is on the concertina.
well you cant say that because pipes came from Europe at one stage as well.
they’re not border pipes they are Scottish smallpipes
