after I update it i dont have blackra1n as an app…it just looks like the normal screen but my sim still doesnt work

my iphone is 3.1.2 and ive used bootnueter but i didn’t try redsnow. the phone seems to be unlocked b/c it says tmobile it just wont recognize the sim

You shouldn’t use blacksnow on the first gen iphones..but if you already updated the firmware then you might need to use bootnueter. I suggest you try redsnow first if you’re still at 3.0 or less.
DreRandom…You ARE A GENIUS!! Thanks so much. I followed your tutorial to the T and it worked!! I was about to jack my phone up by open ssh and deleting locked files and such and rewritting all 644 files but you saved me the hassle. Joelleiva07 just leave the sim card in and let it search..will take about three to five minutes but it will read the new carrier just as DreRandom said. Thanks again Dre. you’re awesome!!!
my Iphone is a 1g and blacksnow will not come up for download in blackra1n how do i fix this same issue without blacksnow
is on iphone use purplesn0w but if you have a ipod touch use blackra1n
I did all this and everything went fine, but after i was done i put in the sim card and it just said searching…
I left it there for like 2 minutes and nothing :/
